Bruker Infrared and X-Ray Technology Showcase
To be held on 18th & 19th October 2011 at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory
You are cordially invited to a free one day seminar exploring infrared spectroscopy and X-ray analysis, and how they can be used for analysis of all types of samples.
The showcase will provide an overview of each of the techniques, covering theory and practice, to demonstrate the possibilities and benefits of each technology. The programme is designed to provide an introduction for those wishing to know more about the techniques, as well as a refresher for those with more experience.
The day will be hands-on, with live demonstrations and opportunities to try out the techniques yourself. You are encouraged to bring samples with you for testing, to discover which technologies are most suited to your application.
The seminar will feature live demonstrations on:
Infrared:
- Alpha - The world's smallest FT-IR spectrometer
- Tango - Near infrared spectrometer for industrial use, launched in August 2011
- Senterra - High performance Raman microscope
X-Ray:
- D2 Phaser - Benchtop x-ray diffractometer
- S2 Picofox - TXRF trace analysis of suspensions and liquids for a wide variety of elements
- Handheld XRF - Portable XRF spectrometers for instant analysis of soils, sediments, plastic, and almost any metal
For more information about the Bruker products, please contact Chris Weston - Sales Manager of X-Ray products.
