The Heritage Science Unit at Innovations Technology Access Centre (I-TAC) brings together research institutions, university departments, the heritage sector and small to medium sized businesses in a mixed environment with ready access to scientific expertise and equipment. Homed on the Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus, the Heritage Science Unit sits alongside world-leading particle and accelerator physics centre, the Cockcroft Institute, the NWDA’s (Northwest Regional Development Agency) incubator centre for new companies and in I-TAC, has access to sixteen fully equipped laboratories with £3 million pounds worth of facilities.
