Business support
Collaboration & networking
The
Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus (SIC) is home to just under 100
high-tech companies providing opportunities for technological and
commercial collaboration. In addition, to encourage the
cross-fertilisation of ideas and promote faster business growth,
Daresbury SIC organises a packed programme of events to facilitate
interaction between recognised experts and knowledge-hungry businesses.
These include the highly successful Daresbury Business Breakfast (link opens in a new window), regularly attended by
over 120 people and providing a unique networking opportunity for
science based businesses.
Business Link Northwest
One
of the Northwest Regional Development Agency’s (link opens in a new window) (NWDA) most important roles is to
support the region’s businesses.
All of
the support can be accessed through Business Link Northwest (link opens in a new window), an NWDA service that
provides individuals and businesses with access to all public and
private sector business support.
A Business Link
adviser is present on Tuesdays in the Daresbury Innovation Centre. This
provides the opportunity for one-to-one advice and guidance often
without making an appointment. However to ensure you have access to an
adviser, please contact the Innovation Centre on +44
(0)1925 607 012.
