Benefits and options

The Innovations Technology Access Centre (I-TAC) is comprised of two large laboratory facilities which are broadly aligned to the Biosciences (I-TAC Bio (link opens in a new window)) and Chemicals and Materials (I-TAC) sectors. Each building houses equipment relevant to the research sector it serves. Additionally a separate Imaging Laboratory houses microscopy equipment.

I-TAC has a flexible approach to helping new businesses locate within its laboratories. We can offer lock and leave exclusive use laboratories, 'hot lab' facilities or use of experimental equipment on an hourly, daily or weekly basis.

By locating on the campus you will find it easier to tap into the technology and expertise available at the STFC. A dedicated Campus Account Manager will be on hand to help connect you with technology and expertise from across the research council to further your business. In addition, Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus offers business support services and a comprehensive range of facilities to support the business and employees including a canteen, gym and media services.
