Our engine technology uniquely allows engineers for the first time to design new engine cycle regimes because the stroke can both be spatially and temporarily engineered, including horizontal opposed piston configurations. The same technology applied to an external combustion engine ("Steam Engine") in combination with the internal combustion engine, using a common output shaft would allow an engine unit to achieve very high thermal efficiencies and be manufactured at less cost compared to conventional engine designs.
